Brandi has been nothing but supportive, loving, and caring to me since the first day I met her. She is never too busy to talk to me and always gives me her full engagement and support. She can always tell when I’m upset and takes the time to come help me with anything I need. Her desire to help others is something I have never seen in anyone but her. God has blessed her with so many gifts that she selflessly dedicates to others, showing the true beauty of her soul. I will always be grateful for the mentor she has been to me and for how she has helped me whenever I needed someone.

I've known Brandi on a personal level for about 4ish years now, but it honestly feels like so much longer. Brandi is the kind of person that you can just open up to and share the ups and downs of your life. She is very personable and approachable. Brandi is not only the type of person you can talk deep with but also one you can have a good laugh with. She is incredibly funny and has a great sense of humor. Brandi has continued to help me further my relationship with Jesus and is always there to answer my questions. I love Brandi and I hope to have a forever friendship with her.

Brandi is a very special person, she has this way of always making you feel seen and heard. She has more patience than anyone I know. Every time I see her she greets me with the warmest, kindest smile and always makes time to talk with me. She has become someone who I look up to and aspire to be like. Brandi is truly a godsend.

I've led with Brandi at a local youth group for the last few years and she is one of the most directly kind people I know. Here's what I mean by that. I've seen her put in effort to get beneath the surface of what makes students tick. I've seen her call out people in small group for belittling the opinions of others and take those same students aside to gently ask them how they're doing.  Brandi's got a good balance of knowing when to joke around and when to get down to business. The conversations I've seen her lead are a mix between listening to people's genuine feelings and plenty of playful ribbing.  I'm excited to see what God has in store for the Kirton family.

Coming to youth and not knowing many people led to me keeping to myself and not engaging with many of the activities and people. Occasionally people would come and talk to me, but me being the introvert I am, made it difficult for me to talk and I was thus uncomfortable a lot of the time. Then I met Brandi, she'd make the effort to come up to me almost every single time, and seeing as she was also one of my youth leaders, it was starting to get easier to talk to her, she encouraged me to talk to more people and engage in the activities. Essentially she was a big push in helping me come out of my shell, and youth has become something I look forward to because of people like Brandi. Despite my own experience with Brandi, I have noticed that she has helped many other kids in my group, especially new kids who don't know about God or have any type of relationship with God. Many of these kids have many deep questions which Brandi has been able to clear up for them in ways which many people could not do, and it truly makes me happy because with that, these people can get a feel of God and who he actually truly is, and not how the world describes him. I feel that a lot of these kids are coming back to youth because of people like Brandi who are there to talk to them, encourage them, and further their relationship with God. Brandi is one of those people that make it really easy to want to come back, and her loving and non-judging nature helps them open up with their experiences in life and with God. So to conclude I would say that Brandi has been one of my favorite youth leaders, not only has she helped me, but she has also helped many other kids with many different things. She is easy to talk to, and for many introverts that is the type of person they need to talk to, one who they feel comfortable around. One thing that I notice is that Brandi always makes an effort to talk to people, especially those that are newcomers or sitting by themselves, which makes me happy, because they then feel a sense of belonging, or that they are being included. Needless to say, I love Brandi so much, and owe her a lot, she has been a big part of the way my personality developed for the better, and such an awesome and cool youth leader.
